Rubber stamp City started as a family business in 1992 in Klerksdorp in the North West Province of South Africa, focussing on the manufacturing and supply of all rubber stamp requirements. In 1999 we acquired our first Trotec Laser Engraver with Serial No SP0004 (Still operating). We were able to offer the market something new and innovative in terms of Rubber Stamps with the highest quality of detail in less than an hour focussing on the supply of Trodat Self-inking Stamps, replacement Rubber die’s as well as replacement inkpads. The laser engraving capabilities expanded our horizons by branding personal gifts, corporate gifts, custom plaques, nametags, and much more.
Who we are
We have since acquired additional Trotec Laser Engraving machines which offered us the highest level of quality and precision in the laser engraving market. With this level of high quality and precise engraving, we are able to engrave on various substrates like wood, glass, acrylic, leather, cork, and anodized aluminium.
We acquired our first large format digital printer in 2001 enabling us to add client’s full-color logos to their nametags and opened further doors in providing signage, Print and Cut vinyl stickers and vehicle branding to our customers.
As we have grown over the years we were able to provide apart from self-inking rubber stamps and daters, a full spectrum of large format digital printing, Signage, Print & Cut Vinyl Stickers, Banners, and nametags.
In 2017 we acquired our first UV Printer which enabled us to print on various flat surfaces from wood, leather, Acrylic, various plastics as well as round objects in our rotary attachment, this open up the market for customized acrylic laser cut and full-color UV print of acrylic trophies.
In 2018 we also acquired our Fiber Laser Marking and engraving laser. This opened a totally new field of engraving as we now engrave on virtually any metal, from stainless steel, copper, brass, gold, silver, titanium, etc., providing the opportunity to engrave Pens, Knives, Guns, Corporate Gifts, Jewellery and with our rotary attachment we can also engrave on the inside and outside of rings with the highest precision, detail, and quality.
